One of the few Taiwan fashion brands who seem to have managed to make a real mark on international fashion (definitely very present in the UK for sure!) is definitely YUMI.
Only established as late as 2008 they have definitely moved very quickly (a complete staple for the lower basement at Top Shop already) and a number of online stores feature them as well…the brand new autumn 09 collection seems to have hit stores, so we had a look around to figure out why Yumi is being such a raging fashion success.
This flirty little gingham mini checked shirt dress (for ONLY $27.00!) is available in two great and easy color combinations – black and white or red and white. Styled with a vest and boots for a modern country look (Taiwan goes Cowboy people!). One size. Cotton, polyester. By Yumi, Taiwan.
This lightweight sweater dress is perfect for those in-between autumn days! It is made of an easy and comfortable cotton and polyester blend for easy layering. Ok ok, we all like Top Shop and stuff, but £70 for a Yumi dress when I can get it at YesStyle for around £30 (max!)…?!?! Really?!
