Spring is coming…spring in boho, dresses, casual and relaxed…

By Noa • Mar 8th, 2009 • Category: Dresses, Lead Story

Slowly but steadily spring is headed our way…we are now in March and in about a month’s time we have hopefully put away our beloved furs for the next 6 months at least!

If winter is the season for chunky earth tones and military style outfits (from Balenciaga to Marc Jacobs, yes we noticed) then Spring and Summer are always a time for the boho season – its sunny and warm and we want to wear something light and airy and colourful! Boho style lets us blend colours and layer prints – throw that paisley chiffon over some striped cotton, let down your hair and sit yourself down in the park with a ice cool cider – oh we just can’t wait!

Nabi Korea – gorgeous Kimono dresses and Obi belts – totally SS09!

By Noa • Jan 25th, 2009 • Category: Dresses, South Korea Fashion & Brands, Special Features

Obi belts were seen all over the runways from New York to Paris at Marc Jacobs in New York, Basso & Brooke in London and the amazing Louis Vuitton collection show in Paris – understandably so – they’re easy to wrap, create a great feminine silhouette and are one size for all. At the same time they add a great exotic touch that makes the most plain office outfit stand out and look special.

MAFIA GIRL – sexy silhouettes from South Korea!

By Noa • Dec 22nd, 2008 • Category: Dresses, South Korea Fashion & Brands, Special Features, YesStyle

When we think of Asian fashion and especially East Asian styles we usually tend to think of the Japanese Harajuku girls and their ecclectic styles which may range from cute lolita styles to crazy gothic trends but are however always extreme. You might have jumped to the conclusion that there is no more mainstream and [...]

Nabi Korea Fashion – sophisticated Kimono style dresses!

One of my absolutely favourite Asian brands is without any doubt the South Korean brand Nabi. Nabi designers create lustrous and gorgeous oriental style dresses and tops and give them a modern twist making them very wearable but maintaining the old school oriental glamour with bold flower prints, gold brocade, heavy use of satin, velvet and silk and beautifully draping Kimono cuts in a mini dress version. Have a look for yourself!
