Structured Harem Trousers - go Peplum!

So this summer saw a complete domination by the harem trousers – Peplum carries the harem forth into the new season, but instead of a drapey summer jersey (jersey being the ultimate urban fashion fabric anyway – as far as I’m concerned) thery chose to work with a more classic heavier trouser fabric and have turned the drapey harem pant into panelled harem pants! Haven’t seen it done any better anywhere else (yet)!

And yes I do consider black, white and grey absolute wardrobe basics – an entire perfect wardrobe can be built up of only these three colours (with a dash of red accessoires, bit of bling and some animal print accessories maybe). Their line is somewhat grungy and consists of many baggy and asymmetric cuts and features, best seen in the dresses – so of course, here are the top trio (as according to us) in dresses from the current collection:

So why don’t we have a look at what we get when a South Korean fashion designer and stylist gets inspired by New York city? A fusion of New York and Seoul in the coat and jacket department so to speak

This double breasted coat comes with a warm neck-covering funnel neck collar and large stylish brass buttons that give it a lovely vintage look. The electric blue makes sure you and no one but you is the center attention when you’re wearing this!

You like the bue coat but would actually like something thats more feminine and has a soft feel to it’s look? Then this lovely yellow empire cut coat might be just your thing.

Looking to be a bit more on season and you find yourself attracted to heading down the tartan road? Well, despair not for Korean fashion brand NewYorkStory definitely do seem to have every single kind of jacket or coat you could possibly think of – of course also including a red tartan coat!

Or maybe you’re being sensible and thinking ahead (unlike I tend to be capable of) to next season already?
