Nabi Korea Fashion – sophisticated Kimono style dresses!
By Noa • Dec 20th, 2008 • Category: Dresses, South Korea Fashion & Brands, Special FeaturesOne of my absolutely favourite Asian brands is without any doubt the South Korean brand Nabi. Nabi designers create lustrous and gorgeous oriental style dresses and tops and give them a modern twist making them very wearable but maintaining the old school oriental glamour with bold flower prints, gold brocade, heavy use of satin, velvet and silk and beautifully draping Kimono cuts in a mini dress version. Have a look for yourself:
This oriental satin dress comes in an elegant kimono cut which drapes around the body beautifully! Old fashioned? No way!! Check out the funky mini dress length and you know this is fabulously modern! Comes in a lovely black satin too.
For a slightly less dramatic dress on the same style, have a look at this velvet kimono dress above. In a lovely black and red combination and again the cool mini dress length this dress is another absolute stunner again from South Korean fashion line Nabi.
Like the first two evening looks but looking for a day version of the Nabi kimono mini dress? Then look at this floral piece with much more casually cut sleeves and out of a combination of polyester and acrylic giving it a comfy fit and a less dramatic fabric unlike the satin and velvet of the first two evening dresses. Perfectly suitable as a spring/ summer dress in light colours and a fresh floral print!
