Ok, anyone who knows me and knows this blog will have noticed that I absolutely love the korean brand Nabi Korea – though they are from uber urban Seoul City they manage to product a fashion line which contstantly keeps the classic asian style and vibe alive – exotic prints, extravagant fabrics and gorgeous draped kimono style dresses are key pieces of every season of Nabi Korea. We’ve just had a look around for what they have waiting for is for this season et voila:

Structured Harem Trousers - go Peplum!

So this summer saw a complete domination by the harem trousers – Peplum carries the harem forth into the new season, but instead of a drapey summer jersey (jersey being the ultimate urban fashion fabric anyway – as far as I’m concerned) thery chose to work with a more classic heavier trouser fabric and have turned the drapey harem pant into panelled harem pants! Haven’t seen it done any better anywhere else (yet)!

And yes I do consider black, white and grey absolute wardrobe basics – an entire perfect wardrobe can be built up of only these three colours (with a dash of red accessoires, bit of bling and some animal print accessories maybe). Yes, we love clutches but we love oversized bags even more. For all the stuff you just *need* to lug around with you everyday there is no way a clutch is going to be of any use. We love clutches for the evening, we love clutches for a nice night out and we definitely love oversized clutches at night. Another fantastic new Asian fashion brand that I stumbled across the other day while looking for something else – Pink Diamond fashion from Asian fashion hotspot South Korea. At first glance it might seem mainly a range of cool mix-and-match basics like t-shirts, scarves and pullovers but their pieces all do have a distinct urban look to them – adding that little extra that keeps it from being just any old basics (we’ve got enough American Apparel and Uniqlo for that) and also the sheer size and varying designs make it more than just that.
