One of the few Taiwan fashion brands who seem to have managed to make a real mark on international fashion (definitely very present in the UK for sure!) is definitely YUMI. Only established in 2008 they have definitely moved very quickly (a complete staple for the lower basement at Top Shop already) and a number of online stores feature them as well…the brand new autumn 09 collection seems to have hit stores, so we had a look around to figure out why Yumi is being such a raging fashion success.
Ok anyone who knows me and knows this blog will have noticed that I absolutely love the korean brand Nabi Korea – though they are from uber urban Seoul City they manage to product a fashion line which contstantly keeps the classic asian style and vibe alive – exotic prints, extravagant fabrics and gorgeous draped kimono style dresses are key pieces of every season of Nabi Korea.
Ok, I’ll fully admit my pictures don’t look quite as ultra stylish as those of la hot asian model on the website – but hey, give me a chance to style it and I’ll so get there (my hair is just such a mess right now!)…even got the aviators and the ripped denim hot pants ready to go!
